The most valuable recommendations of course, come from readers who preceded you.

They were amazed and witnessed valuable changes taking place in their own lives and those of their children.

Janita, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for writing this wonderful book. I am finding it a source of recognition as well as eye-opener! Even though I have not yet finished reading it and haven’t completed all the exercises and therefore still have a number opportunities for growth ahead of me, I want to say right now that every parent should read this book. Wow!

Recognizable, true, fascinating, fluently written, very accessible. I wish I had found this book sooner. Fortunately, though, I found it in time to recognize that my daughter’s problems are also my own. This book confirmed my suspicions and better still: it explained a great deal. As far as I am concerned, this book should be compulsory for all parents (refers to Dutch version)

The title (refers to the Dutch version which translates as ‘the whispering child’), is far too woolly for the content of this book, which in fact offers an extremely concrete and clear way of looking at and working on your relationship with your child. This is also a very good book for therapists to read. It provides a clearer view of family dynamics (refers to Dutch version)

This book is not only for parents but also for teachers, therapists, etc. Anyone who has anything to do with children will find this useful. The world "must" read this; it should mandtory reading for anyone working with children! It would make parents' lives easier, let alone the lives of children. Great book. Go for it, conquer the world. You deserve it.

Natascha Bruti from 'Thee met Koekjes'

‘You should read this book Natascha’, a sentence I had heard often. A few weeks ago, I finally bought it. From the very first page, I was enchanted. The building of bridges between head, heart and hands is important to me and that is exactly what this book is about. Janita’s writing style is free, pure and 'down to earth' and the book is rich in imagery with a well balanced build up. It helps you to investigate the gift your child has to offer you. What do their behaviour, health and particular talents say about you? What can and may you do about them? The book is also a workbook and you can indeed get to work yourself. Then, if you do not succeed, you can visit a PresentChild® Translator who has completed the Training. Simply reading the book though will provide your parenting with a powerful impetus.

I have just finished reading your book and I am deeply impressed indeed; it touched me to the depths of my being. I could identify with the book (including your personal story) and thoroughly enjoyed every word I read. You must have heard this a thousand times but I want to say it again: it is a wonderful book, encompassing everything life is about, it acknowledges both body and soul and, what’s more, does so in a way that is easy to digest. It means a great deal to me and, no doubt, to a great many other people too. It is strength and gentleness, masculine and feminine; it is very down to earth yet at the same time sublime. It’s message is positive, as life itself is, realistic and full of imagination – Thank you!!!

Firstly, congratulations on the publication of this book. As I was reading your talent for words and love for your work was tangible.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading your book, both the way you explain the method as well as the authentic and open manner in which you share your life story with the readers. The beauty of the method lies in its simplicity; it is true and effective.

For the past few weeks I have been reading your book and experiencing a range of emotions. Admiration, grief, hunger for more, recognition, and most of all, respect. It is worthwhile reading it several times. I respect and am humbled by your personal life story. When it comes to developing oneself in relation to one’s children, you are my living example and an inspiration, so too because of your infinite love for your self, your children and the wholeness of life. Thank you for sharing your personal process and for developing the PresentChild® method.

I find The PresentChild method very clear, down to earth and spiritual at the same time. Beautiful work.

I found your book an absolute delight. Your style and message touched me to the core. We have a lot in common which is why your story resonates so completely with me.

I am totally captivated by the combination of your personal story with the opportunity to carry out practical exercises.

I received your book yesterday and read the parts pertaining to your personal process in one go – I could not put it down, a real page turner, so familiar, and so honestly and beautifully written. I am going to start from the beginning again to gain a better insight into your method, but I wanted to share this first impression with you straight away. I am still reading and my second impression is even better than the first...

Your book is great. I have read it with so much pleasure and will definitely investigate the subject further, a subject that I feel certain has existed latently somewhere in my system for ages.

Tanja van Dorsser

What an amazing book this turned out to be! I can barely tear myself away to do other necessary chores. It is so lovingly written and takes the reader on a journey – a real pleasure. I sincerely hope your book and the ideas it contains will be afforded a well-deserved, prominent place in the world and in the hearts of people.

I wish you success, thank you for putting so clearly into words exactly what we as parents need.

What a wonderful book! Written straight from the heart, my compliments.

Firstly, I want to thank Janita for this brilliant book! I am so glad I ran into it. I feel sure that I need look no further; it is the answer to all my questions. Will this book be translated into English? I want to give it to a Russian friend of mine.

I have infected a number of people with my enthusiasm for your book and the method. I find it extraordinary how that little girl, who suffered such painful deprivation, grew up into the strong woman who brought us the gift of PresentChild! I am sincerely grateful to you for your courage, your passion and open-heartedness, so too for the dedication with which you use your extraordinary talents. In these times, which are crying out for healing and awareness, PresentChild can make a unique and authentic contribution.
